Should you invest in a farmhouse in Silivri or in real estate in London?
If the likelihood of me touching my investment is low over the next 5 years, and assuming a devaluation in Turkey is unlikely, I would prefer to invest in a properly valued farmhouse in the Silivri region under today's scenario.
Accessing the right network of contacts, following up effectively, and accurately valuing premium real estate offers significant opportunities. Putting myself in the shoes of a high-end investor, I can't immediately answer whether I should buy a farmhouse in Silivri, Thrace, or a detached villa in London.
A farmhouse in Silivri, with no technical or legal issues, would greatly appeal to me if it's worth investing in at its current market value.
My reasons include the fact that the land market has developed very slowly over the past three years, with prices showing annual increases even below the inflation rate. Another reason is the continued scrutiny of the Canal Istanbul project.
Buying a farmhouse in Silivri, located near Istanbul and with easy access to transportation, seems like an attractive investment to me.
The key is accessing the right opportunities.
Opportunities in farmhouses primarily arise through off-market channels. The way to access these opportunities is to connect with the right networks of contacts.
Investing in a branded residential project or a villa in London requires a more long-term approach.
Investing in real estate in London encompasses stable, acceptable, safe, and low-risk approaches.
If the likelihood of me touching my investment is low over the next 5 years, and assuming a devaluation in Turkey is unlikely, I would prefer to invest in a properly valued farmhouse in the Silivri region in today's scenario.
