The Halkalı-Kapıkule Railway Project consists of 3 phases: 153 kilometers of Kapıkule-Çerkezköy, 67 kilometers of Çerkezköy-Ispartakule, and 8.4 kilometers of Ispartakule-Halkalı. Construction of the project began in 2019, and when completed, it will provide much faster transportation for passenger and freight trains on the line.
